Kittiwakes Dunbar castle, Gannets the Bass rock

This July I was lucky enough to spend a week in Northe Berwick, with John Busby David Measures and others, all drawing and painting wildlife.Days were spent in the field watching and drawing the frantic activity of the breeding season , during a squally week .
I was able to spend a day on the bass Rock with its 40,000 pairs of Gannets, amazed to see how many more pairs have arrived since I last visited.
These are a couple of my watercolours from that week.
