Beautiful autumn day

Another glorious day,the sun was warm and bright all day.
Late afternoon and I noticed a sudden influx of blackbirds in my garden, migrant birds and then overhead Redwings maybe a hundred, they streamed over the house towards last years winter roost, I will have to go to check it out.
Yesterday the barn owl trust put an outdoor nest box up in the field behind the house, I can't wait to see what uses it .

Raku fired Gannet
