The weather is beging to warm up and I am looking forward to the spring flowers .
lots of activity at the badger sett behind the house not long now and the cubs will be above ground.

Beautiful autumn day

Another glorious day,the sun was warm and bright all day.
Late afternoon and I noticed a sudden influx of blackbirds in my garden, migrant birds and then overhead Redwings maybe a hundred, they streamed over the house towards last years winter roost, I will have to go to check it out.
Yesterday the barn owl trust put an outdoor nest box up in the field behind the house, I can't wait to see what uses it .
